How Our Returns Work

At DRIPSHIP, every piece is printed fresh after you order. We're not mass-produced — your item is made specifically for you. This means we have to be careful about what we can accept back.

Here's how it works.


Cancellations

You have 2 hours after placing your order to cancel for free. Just WhatsApp us at +91 8770461201.

For prepaid orders: Cancellations are processed as store credit (valid for 180 days). We do not refund to the original payment method for cancellations, as payment gateway fees are non-refundable.

After 2 hours: Your order is in production and we can't cancel it. If you refuse delivery after we've printed your item, ₹300 will be deducted from your store credit to cover production costs.


Exchanges (We Recommend This)

Exchanges are the fastest way to get the right size or product.

Timeline: Request within 7 days of delivery

Fee: ₹200 (covers return pickup and inspection)
Forward shipping: Free
Limit: One exchange per order

One exchange per order. If you need a different size again, place a new order. We'll help you nail the size first — WhatsApp us at +91 8770461201 before ordering to get personalized size recommendations.

If the replacement costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, you get the balance as store credit (valid for 180 days).

How to exchange:

  1. WhatsApp us at +91 8770461201
  2. Pay the ₹200 exchange fee
  3. Ship the item back with tags attached and original packaging
  4. We'll inspect it within 24 hours and ship your replacement within 48 hours

If the requested size/product goes out of stock during the exchange process:

  • We'll offer an alternative product of equal or greater value, OR
  • Issue store credit (180 days, partial use allowed)
  • Refund to original payment method not available for stock issues

Serviceability check: Enter your pincode at checkout to confirm reverse pickup availability. 95% of India is covered.

For the 5% outside pickup zones: You ship the product to us yourself, and we'll waive the ₹200 exchange fee. Shipping costs you pay are non-refundable.

Returns & Refunds

If you'd prefer a refund instead of an exchange, here are your options:

Timeline: Request within 7 days of delivery. Ship back within 14 days of approval.

Option 1: Bank Refund

You receive: Product price minus ₹400

This covers forward shipping (₹200) and return shipping (₹200).

Examples:

  • ₹999 product → ₹599 refund
  • ₹1,699 product → ₹1,299 refund
  • ₹2,499 product → ₹2,099 refund

Option 2: Store Credit (Better Value)

You receive: Product price minus ₹200

Examples:

  • ₹999 product → ₹799 store credit
  • ₹1,699 product → ₹1,499 store credit
  • ₹2,499 product → ₹2,299 store credit

Store credit details:

  • Valid for 180 days from issue date
  • Linked to your email/phone
  • Use full amount or partial — unused balance stays active until expiry
  • Non-transferable
  • Cannot be converted to cash

Example: If you have ₹2,299 in store credit and buy a ₹999 product, the remaining ₹1,300 stays in your account for future purchases (until the 180-day expiry).

Refund processing: 7-10 business days to your original payment method.


What We Can Accept Back

We can only process returns if all of these apply:

  • Requested within 7 days of delivery
  • Shipped back within 14 days of approval
  • Unworn and unwashed
  • All tags attached and intact
  • Original packaging included
  • No odor (perfume, deodorant, sweat, or smoke)
  • No stains, marks, or damage
  • Product is fully resellable

Tags are non-negotiable. If you remove them, we can't accept the return. You can try the item on carefully (over another shirt works well for tees), but once the tags come off, it's yours to keep.


Inspection

When we receive your return, we'll check for:

  • Tag integrity
  • Odors (perfume, sweat, smoke)
  • Wear signs (stretching, pilling, makeup marks)
  • Washing or damage
  • Packaging condition

If the item doesn't meet our requirements, we'll reject the return, send it back to you (you cover the ₹150 return shipping), and share photos as proof.


What We Can't Accept

We don't accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Products with removed or tampered tags
  • Used or washed items
  • Items requested after the 7-day window
  • Sale, clearance, or final sale items
  • Products purchased with discount codes above 30% off
  • Gift cards or store credit

Defects & Wrong Items

If we messed up — wrong item, wrong size, printing defect, fabric issue — we'll fix it immediately.

Report within 48 hours of delivery.

Required Proof (MANDATORY):

For damaged or wrong product claims, a complete unboxing video is MANDATORY.

Video requirements:

  • Must be 1 continuous shot from sealed package to product visible
  • Show the package seal intact before opening
  • Show the full unboxing process without cuts or edits
  • Clearly show the product and the damage/issue
  • Max 2 minutes duration is fine

Edited or cut videos will not be accepted.

Without a proper unboxing video, damage claims will not be approved. Photos alone are not sufficient for damage claims.

For wrong size/color or printing defects (non-damage issues), clear photos of the product (front, back, tags) and packaging are acceptable.

If Approved:

If it's our error, you get:

  • Free replacement, or
  • Full refund with no deductions

For bulk orders (5+ units): Defective items get replaced, not refunded.

The pattern: Exchanges and store credit always give you the most value, regardless of product price.


Order Limits

One size per order: We don't accept "trial orders" where you buy multiple sizes to try at home. Use our size chart or ask us for help before ordering. We do not support repeated exchanges.

Bulk orders (5+ units):

  • Exchanges allowed (₹200 per item)
  • Returns not allowed
  • Defective items replaced only

Important Notes

  • Check our size chart carefully before ordering. We provide detailed measurements to help you choose correctly.
  • Products returned in used, washed, damaged, or tagless condition will not be accepted.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, weather conditions, or operational delays beyond our control.
  • The exchange process may take 6-7 working days from pickup to delivery of replacement.

Fraud Prevention

To keep pricing fair for everyone, we monitor for:

  • Excessive returns
  • Tag tampering
  • False defect claims
  • Returning worn items
  • Missing or edited unboxing videos for damage claims

Accounts flagged for abuse may face return restrictions, prepaid-only ordering, or permanent bans in severe cases.


Why This Policy Exists

We're print-on-demand, which means every item costs us around ₹300 to print, plus shipping. Instead of inflating our prices or using cheap materials to cover these costs, we chose:

  • Premium 240 GSM fabric
  • Affordable pricing
  • Transparent deductions (we only charge actual shipping costs)

This policy helps us maintain quality and fair pricing while preventing abuse.
